loading emulator…

The same cycle-driven core as the desktop builds, running single-threaded in your browser. It boots the bundled open-source AROS ROM out of the box - no Kickstart needed - and you can load your own Kickstart image and disk files with the buttons above. Everything runs locally in your browser; nothing you load here is uploaded anywhere. Experimental: best on a desktop browser with a keyboard.

Click the screen to capture your mouse for relative motion (Esc releases it); without capture, the pointer follows your cursor over the screen. On a touch screen the display works like a trackpad: drag to move the pointer, tap to click, hold still for a moment to drag with the button held, and rest a second finger to hold the right button for menus. The Joystick toggle drives port 2 from the keyboard with the same mapping as the desktop app: cursor keys for directions, Right Ctrl or Right Alt for fire (CD32 extras on C/X/D/S/Enter/Z/A). On touch screens the toggle has a third mode that turns the screen into a pad: the left half is a floating stick, the right half is fire. Disks are always write-protected in the browser. Kickstart ROMs are copyrighted and not provided - use your own dump. The bundled AROS ROMs are distributed under the AROS Public License.
